Finding a suitable group from the waiting list

An empty spot in a Tuesday group and a family that has been waiting six weeks for exactly that group: until now, connecting the two was manual work. You kept the list in your head, or in a spreadsheet next to the system, and the spot stayed empty for a round or two while everyday work got in the way.

That gap is now closed. Waiting-list matching is live for all swim schools.

What it does

When a place opens - a swimmer moves up a level, a family cancels, you add capacity - the system reads your waiting list against that specific opening:

• Level and program - only swimmers waiting for that diploma or program are considered.
• Location - a family waiting for Amsterdam is not suggested for a spot in Utrecht.
• Preferred days and times - captured at registration, so the match already knows that Wednesday afternoon works and Friday does not.

The result is a short, ordered list of swimmers who actually fit, with the best match on top. You stay in charge: approve the suggestion, skip it, or pick someone further down. Nothing is assigned behind your back.

Why it matters

An unfilled spot is quiet revenue loss - nobody calls to complain about it, it just sits there. Matching turns the waiting list from a queue you administer into something that works for you: the offer can go out the same day the spot opens.
