Creating and Managing Waitlists

How to create the waitlists families sign up for on the registration page, and how to show, hide and edit them.

Last updated 13 October 2026

Families do not sign up for a class directly, but for a waitlist. On your public registration page they pick the waitlist that suits them, for example Diploma A at Amsterdam Bad 1. From the waitlist you later assign the student to a class. Waitlists let you manage demand and offer spots quickly.

Your waitlists overview

  1. Go to Registrations
  2. Open the Waitlist tab

The list shows for each waitlist:

ColumnDescription
NameThe waitlist's name, as families see it on the registration page
StatusOpen (visible on the registration page) or Hidden
RegistrationsHow many sign-ups are on the waitlist
LocationThe pool the waitlist belongs to
ProgramThe program the waitlist belongs to
Min. ageThe minimum age for the waitlist
FeeThe waitlist fee, or No fee

At the top you can filter by Location and Status, and search by name.

Create a waitlist

  1. Click Create waitlist
  2. Choose whether the waitlist is shown:
    • Show on registration page — families can sign up straight away
    • Hide on registration page — the waitlist is not visible to families
  3. Fill in the details (see below)
  4. Click Save
FieldDescription
Name (required)The name families see when signing up
DescriptionExtra information for families, for example who the lessons are for (up to 1,000 characters)
Location (required)The pool or facility
ProgramThe program the waitlist belongs to
Min. ageThe minimum age in years and months

PDF for the confirmation emailOne PDF file (up to 3.5 MB), for example practical information, house rules or what to bring. It is attached to the confirmation email when a family signs up through the registration page.

The details you enter here are visible to families when they sign up. They pay any waitlist fee via Stripe when signing up. See How registrations and the waitlist work.

Edit, show or hide a waitlist

Click Edit waitlist on the waitlist's row to change its details or to show or hide it on the registration page. This is also where you replace or remove the PDF for the confirmation email; the change applies to sign-ups from then on.

Tip: Want to stop new sign-ups for a waitlist for a while? Choose Hide on registration page. Existing registrations on the waitlist stay where they are.
